Holography

Holography is a technique that allows the light from an object to be recorded and reconstructed so an image of the object will be seen even when the object is no longer present, thus making the image appear three-dimensional. The image changes as the position and orientation of the viewing system changes same way as if the object was still there.Holography was invented by the Hungarian-British physicist Dennis Gabor  in 1947 for which he received a Nobel Prize in Physics.

Telescope

Telescope was invented in Netherlands in beginning of the 17th century. It is an instrument that people use to observe objects by collecting electromagnetic radiation. The word “telescope” has Greek roots, “tele”-far and  “skopein” to look or to see. There are many types of telescopes like optical, radio, x-ray, gamma-ray, high energy particle. 

Electric car

Electric car is using electric energy stored in batteries or another energy storage device. It has several potential benefits as compared to regular car but it is more expensive due to the additional cost of their lithium-ion battery pack. Having electric car would reduce urban air pollution. Chevy Volt is car designed in 2011 that is an electric car but it can also use the gas if needed. It has high expectations by its inventors. 

GPS


The Global Positioning System provides location anywhere on the Earth. Also it provides time information in all weather.  It is maintained by the United States Government but it is easily accessible by anyone with GPS receiver. The GPS project was developed in 1973 to overcome the limitations of previous navigations system. 

Online dating

Also known as Internet dating is one of the ways of communication. It allows individuals, couples and groups to share their personal information with each other and developing personal, romantic or sexual relationship. On dating sites, members have an option to upload their photos and to browse pictures of other users. Usually the sites are free, but there might be some sites that you have to pay monthly charge. Also sites may offer additional services such as webcasts, online chat, telephone chat and message boards.

Vevo

Vevo is a music video website, launched in  December 8, 2009.  It is currently  available only in the United States, Canada, the Republic of Ireland, and the United Kingdom. This includes it's iPhone App.  According to comScore, VEVO was the most visited music network in the US for December ’09. VEVO offers music videos from three of the 'big four' major record labels: Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, and EMI and Warner Music Group. Vevo is definitely about to 'kill' MTV network.

JUDAS- Lady Gaga

'Judas' is a second singe taken from Gaga's second studio album Born this way that is scheduled to be released n May 23rd. A music video for the song was filmed in early April, co-directed by Gaga and Laurieann Gibson. It includes a Biblical storyline so the Catholic League criticized Gaga for the alleged use of religious imagery in the video and her role as Magdalene. Gaga explained that ''Judas' is a metaphor and an analogy about forgiveness and betrayal and things that haunt you in your life and how I believe that it's the darkness in your life that ultimately shines and illuminates the greater light that you have upon you''.

Fake Pictures of Osama Bin laden's dead body

While president Obama is refusing to publish pictures of dead Osama Bin laden, fake ones are circling through the internet and have made it over the TV news and print. Bloody picture of Bin laden's head is more than convincing. The picture has spread without regard for their origin or whether it was Photoshoped. 
The image on the right shows cleary that the picture was photoshoped. . It seems the fake picture was initially published by the Middle East online newspaper themedialine.org on 29 April 2009, with a warning from the editor that it was “unable to ascertain whether the photo is genuine or not”

Bin Ladens Death Leaked through Twitter

Twitter once again proved as a fast tool for spreading news. News about the death of Osama Bin Laden was eaked through Keith Urbahn's, the former chief of staff of Secretary of Defense Donald Rumfeld, Twitter page. ''So I am told by a reputable person they have killed Osama Bin Laden. Hot Damn'', posted Keith 10:24 ET.
President Obama did not  confirm bin Laden’s death until 11:35pm ET, a little over an hour after he was expected to  appear.
On Friday, 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey in London, The wedding of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Catherine Middleton took place.

Nothing less would have been expected for the royalty, right?
